It's Christmas Eve and Mommy and Ava get started on a very special project: Cookies for Santa. Join in the fun as they roll out the dough, cut out the shapes and bake em up good for Jolly St. Nick.
In the second of three videos of our trip to visit Santa, Ava and Mommy check out the big Christmas tree at River Park.
We went to visit Santa on Friday and it was an absolutely wonderful afternoon. Ava was so happy to see Santa and take pictures with him. Aidan did great to and didn't fuss a bit. We'll be sharing our Santa photo very soon. After spending some time with Santa, we walked over to sit in Santa's sleigh for a bit and captured this video of the fun.
We just added the November 2008 photo album to the Photos area. We have been taking lots of pictures, but just haven't had time to get them online like we normally do. Aidan is growing fast and his smile is very contagious. Ava is so much fun at 2 and a half and she is becoming such a ham. Mommy and Daddy are always laughing at the funny stuff she comes up with. Glad to get some videos and photos back on the site and we hope you enjoy.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and that means getting ready for Santa's visit to our house. Mommy was giving Ava a cooking lesson on baking cookies, and more importantly, cookies for Santa. The girls had a wonderful time and made some really great treats. We'll be cooking and baking more for the holidays, but this particular evening was quite special as Ava gets very excited for the Big Guy's upcoming visit on Christmas Eve.
Aidan has been giving us lots of smiles and laughs lately. He is quite the charmer and it's quite easy to get smitten when he demonstrate how happy he is. I captured him being cute and, of course, his big sister wanted in on the action too. These kids are very entertaining and sure keep us laughing (and busy).
We thought it'd be fun to celebrate Aidan's first month with a little birthday celebration. Of course, big sister Ava led the festivities and singing.
Mommy, Daddy and Ava had a great time at the pumpkin patch with songs, playtime, and lots of laughs. It was a very special day and this video is just a bit of the great time we had.
We had quite a fun-filled Halloween this year. It started out with Mommy and Daddy taking Ava to a local pumpkin patch to pick out our family pumpkins. At the pumpkin patch we played on the swings, slides, bounce house and saw a lot of farm animals. Ava picked out some really great pumpkins and worked extra hard to help carry them to the car.
Mommy and Ava did a wonderful job carving the pumpkins into fun jack-o-lanterns. They worked really hard and had a lot of fun scooping out the insides and poking out the jack-o-lantern eyes.
